In 2020 Runway Journal reviewed its archive after being notified of instances of racist, culturally offensive, and non-inclusive material. The archive is now open to critique since the publication of Issue 42: Archive in 2020.

We wish to advise readers that our archive may contain harmful or triggering content. Readers should be aware that the names of deceased Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people appear in past publications.

Since Issue 42: Archive we have continued striving to commission safer content for our audiences by implementing new editorial and organisational policies, including a Code of Conduct.
